What we do
It can be tough juggling work demands with dog care and that’s why Lucky Hounds was created. We offer your four-legged family members the opportunity to walk, run and play either on their own or with some pals, giving them some much-needed socialising and stimulation in an otherwise long day.
Not all dogs have the same nature and at Lucky Hounds we carefully match dogs to spend time together. If your dog is a little quieter or anxious, they will be matched with calm dogs or simply walked individually, the choice is yours.
Our Services
Group Walks
$40 per dog or $65 for 2 dogs
Every walk is 1 hour. Whether it’s at a dog park or the beach, your pup gets to run, play, and explore—off-leash and carefree, with safety always our top priority. We thoughtfully match dogs based on temperament to ensure happy and harmonious adventures.
Before we start, we’ll arrange a friendly meet-and-greet to get to know you and your pup, making sure we understand their needs. Plus, we take care of pick-up and drop-off, so all you have to do is relax while your furry friend enjoys their outing!
Private Walks
$50 per dog or $80 for 2 dogs
For the quieter, more timid pups—or those who prefer a little one-on-one time—our individual walks are the perfect fit! Whether your dog is young, elderly, unsocialized, or just prefers a slower pace, we tailor the experience to their comfort level.
Just like our group walks, each session lasts a full hour, with home pick-up and drop-off included. And if your pup needs a little extra guidance, we also offer lead and recall training to help build their confidence.
Puppy care
$40 for 30 minutes
Leaving your new puppy at home alone for the whole day when you return to work can be very difficult. Puppies need frequent feeding and companionship and sometimes that’s not a possibility with work demands. So Lucky Hounds come to your home and visit/play with your new puppy for 30 minutes. While there, we’ll feed your pup, change their water, help with some toilet and obedience training such as sit and stay, and have a little play. It’s a good opportunity to socialise your new puppy to someone outside the family and a great start for their life.

At Lucky Hounds, dogs get the exercise, social time, and play they need – while I get to soak up all the cuddles, kisses, and joyful moments along the way. It’s a pretty sweet deal… and yes, I know just how lucky I am!
